Preventive maintenance

Unplanned downtime on a machine can lead to large costs by creating negative economic ripple effects. Here are examples of negative impacts an unplanned stop can trigger:

  • Stop in the production flow
  • Cost of possibly moving production if this is possible
  • Delay in the delivery of products to the end customer
  • Cost of staffing/overtime to make up for the delays
  • Permanent damage to machine and tools
  • Shortened lifetime/permanent damage to machine
  • Frequency of unplanned stops

This can be avoided with proper preventive maintenance, which is why we at Wictus have a strong focus on this. We offer operator maintenance and preventive maintenance. WictusNet is our own maintenance system. Through this web portal, our contract customers have access to the history of their machines, including deviation lists and reports.

Operator maintenance is a preventive maintenance system for operators. We believe that the most important person in a well-functioning preventive maintenance is the operator. We have prepared routines that the operator has access to via a web portal and can be used either via a smartphone or a PC.

Emergency repair

Wictus has a large network of highly skilled service technicians, so that they can respond to urgent repairs at any time. Wictus strives to have local capacity with high competence. We also have technicians spread out all over Norway as well as a large network of partners and subcontractors who can move out at short notice. Wictus also has good access to spare parts from a large global network should an accident occur and parts are needed quickly.

Short downtime from the time the fault occurs until we have made a plan and carried out the repair.

Planned maintenance

It is always cost-effective to plan maintenance and repairs. This applies both towards production and not least that we have the right parts and the right technicians available before the assignment is started.
